The Firsthand Foods Sausage Wagon is our community engagement tool. It is a fun and interactive way of connecting directly to our end consumers to spread the word about our mission as a company, and to provide area food lovers with a taste of our delicious, local, pasture-raised pork and beef. When the Wagon is operating as a food truck, we pair our custom made sausages with fresh baked rolls from Durham-based Guglhupf Bakery, and top them with mouth-watering housemade condiments like our pimento cheese and our crowd pleasing fennel chow-chow.
The Sausage Wagon is no longer available for private events. Please consider inviting our friends in the food truck community! The following trucks share our commitment to providing customers with local foods, and regularly serve our pasture-raised meats:
